Definitions of Affect:* Broad concept with a wide array of meanings.* Refers to many different aspects of life.* All embracing moral or philosophical.* Negative, pessimistic outlook. * Clear, optimistic outlook.* Energy and energy; nothingness from pain and honest illness.* Cultivation background.* A personally nourishing job.* A clean background.


Definition of Wellness:* Purposeful, enjoyable living.* Deliberate lifestyle choice.* Personal dependability.* Optimal enhancement of corporal, mental and spiritual affect.* Integration of body, mind and moral fiber.* Impact of believe and feelings on state of affect and affect of the planet.


Iceberg Model of Wellness:* Only one tenth of the total wellness is visible and represents the contemporary state of affect.* Nine tenth of the total wellness is hidden and represents the hidden determinants of affect, including life style habits, psychological factors, cultural and spiritual factors.

Five Basic Assumptions of Western Methodical Model of Affect:* Biomedical-earnings that affect equals that all parts of the body functioning by the book.* Reductionist-Affect and disease may be reduced to smaller components.* Mechanistic-earnings that all body parts are unified, but can be separated and treated unconnectedly.* Allopathic-Affect facility by a logic of opposites.* Pathogenic-focuses on why broadcast be converted into ill.

This in turn is influenced by the costs and beliefs about affect.

WHO Definition of Affect:* To realize aspirations.* To satisfy wants.* To exchange.* To cope.* Pile for everyday life.* Not an object of living.* Clear concept.* Encompass shared, personal and corporal capabilities.


Jakarta Declaration:* Affect is associated to shared and fiscal enhancement.


Ottawa Charter:* Hug the concept of community participation and healthy broadcast policy as essential to the promotion of affect.
